Although many interns may have great ambition and thirst for learning, I have never had the pleasure of meeting another colleague with the perfect combination of drive and correct attitude that Jamal has. He is the perfect example for continuous self-development and healthy perspective. He is always ready to take on challenging tasks and conquer them while providing on-point followup and demonstrating superb customer-facing attitude. When you assign a task to Jamal, you know that it will be done, accurately and on time. He'll often surprise you with a smart way to optimize his tasks to capitalize on time and resources. I have been fortunate enough to have crossed paths with Jamal, in his internship with Logicom Gulf, personally having been able to extract some of the vibrant energy he brings with him and, apply that to my own, everyday approach to my role. Jamal carries a professional element that most organizations aspire to mirror and it is this very strength that will greatly benefit Jamal in his future, information-hungry career and journey.       After Commencing the TIC in 2017, the team made it into the top three universities across Australia and won the ‘innovation award’ for the Telstra innovation challenge 2017. During the Design 3 course, the team has developed a project/product based on IoT technology that aids the agriculture industry. Our product, ‘Beesecure’, automates beehives and monitors the temperature, weight, humidity and GPS coordinates using the sensors attached to the microprocessor used and the 4G shield. The system will detect and display (alert) to the user via the website if any unusual detections occur through the sensors using the IoT network provided by the Telstra team.
