- Works closely with the Product Manager and Development Manager providing inputs on initiatives from Aha, gathering requirements and estimates for scheduling on the product roadmap. - Responsible for 3 main projects on different platforms: Desktop (Accounting, Payroll, POS), Hosted (SaaS), and cloud-based data analytics & visualisation (API, AWS, ELT, Data Warehouse). - Day-to-day coordination of the Development team’s activities, manage the product backlog, prioritisation, and set product vision and sprint goals through agile methodologies. - Facilitates meetings such as daily standups, sprint planning, review/demo, and retrospective including quarterly review/planning and health checks. - Assists QA to develop test scenarios, planning, and processes including handling of 3rd level escalations and triaging probable call generators keeping with internal SLAs. - Manages the release process by writing release notes, collaborate with key stakeholders such as Marketing with collateral, media releases, and blogs to support GTM or product promotion. - Stakeholder relationship building, engagement, and management by periodically reporting and presenting to C-level executives, senior managers and/or other stakeholders. CURRENT ACHIEVEMENTS - Built a Postman collection for QA to automate and replace some manual testing activities on the Hosted platform effectively reducing test time by 37.5%. - Successfully led and deployed a major payroll compliance change (STP Phase 2) reducing inbound calls by 13% in the first month. - Implemented a long-term data set initiative (Demo Book) for our data analytics, which became a baseline source for other development teams and source material for Sales and Marketing.
