With years of experience in the corporate sector, I have developed a creative and imaginative approach to teaching that improves student achievement and fosters a love for learning. My passion for teaching led me to discover my true purpose, which is to merge my real-world skills with my desire to shape the next generation. As the Head of Department for Humanities (History, Geography, Economics, Accounting, Business Studies, Art, Global Perspectives) at Milton Billabong International School, Chennai, I have been responsible for coordinating all aspects of the curriculum and developing policies to keep up with relevant changes. I have also provided guidance to staff on how to teach the subject with practical skills and conducted regular book scrutiny and learning walks to monitor individual pupil progress. I am proud to say that one of my students recently competed in the ICAI's National Commerce Quiz in June 2022 and secured a high score. I am currently pursuing the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Leaders (CIDTL) and have participated in various webinars, including the Exam Officer Webinar in September and November 2022, and the Collins International Webinar - Growing Global Citizens using your local context: with Cambridge Global Perspectives™. As a passionate educator, I am committed to providing a positive and successful teaching approach and going beyond the call of duty to ensure that my students receive the best possible education.
