Wachlarz aimed to connect reporters, travellers, blogers, YouTubers and technologists to tell stories about the world. We brought together over 500 people for three days of talks and workshops. Travel and report blog established together with my wife Anna. Due to many succesful projects we have became one of the most recognized blogging brands in Poland. ePaństwo Foundation is a leading open data organisation globally. I had a huge pleasure to manage it growth from it's early days with my partner. ePF launched around Sejmometr - hugely succesful parliamentary monitoring tool and website. On top of it we built a stron organisation dedicated to open data, FOIA, civic engagement and coding. ePaństwo Foundation received funding from Omidyar Network, Google, Visegrad Fund, OSF, Batory Foundation and many more. It was part of a bigger initiative covering the whole world and first attemp to map newly born civic tech initiatives. Beamups was an innovative media startup dedicated to connecting journalists with publishers. It operated as marketplace where independent media makers could share their videos and photos and sell. Publishers on the other hand could easily find journalists from any place around the world.Beamups received Guardian Megas award for Business model in 2010. I managed and grew the community of journalists who used the platform on daily basis. Guided them through the process. Together we pitched stories to publishers. Beamups was one the first approaches to introduce new models of making money for both journalists and publishers.

Refugee.plFirst portal in Poland dedicated to refugees. I was in charge of creating the whole platform. From building the team, training to developing the online website as well as printed version. Online version was targetted to people working with refugees in Poland, it increased awareness to Polish citizens and helped refugees to navigate through various procedures. Articles were produced in Polish, English and Russian. Printed version was distributed to NGOs and refugee centers in Poland.
