Karol Kraśkiewicz
People like Jakub are rare to meet. Jakub expertly filled the roles of Quality Assurance Specialist and Scrum Master in our team. During those four years, we worked together, I was always impressed his proactiveness, communicativeness and above everything else, ability to make sane decisions during periods of increased stress. Jakub was a great asset to our team, and I believe he will make a difference for any team he will join in the future.

What product? - Mobile App (iOS/Android) - Providing loyalty points (+ fresh/clean UI design + good looking pictures of products + catchy marketing phrases) for making purchases in each brand’s shop. - When you buy stuff, you get points, then you can exchange them for anything from a brand’s store product, plus you have lots of fun from using the mobile app itself. What I did? - Scrum Master is a flexible role and usually I engage myself in doing things I haven’t done before, so now I’m working more with the whole organization, co-founders, specific departments, client representatives, leaders, and teams. - I’m focused on tracking needs (expressed by any entity from above point), then when I prioritize them and when I’m aligned with all stakeholders, I provide a vision for improvement. After we are agreed on it I take responsi-bility for introducing the change in specific area or I pass it to other leader or entity, who/which might be better equipped (e.g. in domain experience, in having more time, or more understanding of customer or team).
