I had pleasure to work with Jakub on TiVo Stream4k project and highly recommend him as an Android Developer. Jakub had high contribution in TiVo Stream4k project by implementing features and keeping high code quality. His biggest achievement in my opinion was integrating YouTube channels to TiVo Stream 4k. See: https://explore.tivo.com/how-to/stream-4k/youtubetv Other big achievement was creating logging and monitoring service, that had to be alive, monitoring platform, sending data in chunks, handling disconnected states, buffering data etc. As a Senior Developer Jakub has accurate and usefull review comments that help the Team to learn. Clean Architecture, RxJava and Kotlin knowledge are areas where rest of the Team can benefit. Jakub adds value to technical discussions thanks to good knowledge about Android platform - especially Android Services, Content Providers, Android IPC mechanisms. Can also take responsibilty to represent Team outside to agree on architecture like communication with other apps, services or backend (REST api).

Jakub's head is always full of ideas. Are you a developer and you need to have your code reviewed? - go to Jakub. Are you a Product Owner and need a good estimate or feasibility study? - go to Jakub. There is a sophisticated piece of code to be written? - go to Jakub! Jakub has all the skills to bring business requirements to well architected code. Jakub is not afraid to share his ideas, discuss them, convince others or change his mind what makes him a really great and easy person to work with. Moreover, Jakub has very up-to-date knowledge around Android mobile development, he knows the Android eco-system to the bone. His expertise is not only around mobile apps development, but he knows how the things work under the hood (from OS perspective).

I was working on TiVo Stream 4k - the main application for connecting users with video content and a background service for monitoring system (platform) health. Apart from adding new features, I was a part of the “stability” subteam which in I was analyzing data collected in Splunk and Firebase and trying to catch the most significant bugs.https://www.tivo.com/products/stream-4k
