  At CERN I evaluated CAD/PDM systems to replace Euclid together with a student colleague from Luleå University. We looked especially at CATIA V5, Solidworks, Autodesk inventor and Pro Engineer. CERN experiments have high requirements of precision over large distances and are setup of a very large number of components.
