As a student tutor, I teach first and second-year LLB courses to multiple groups of students and work alongside experienced teaching staff of the Faculty of Law.In the academic year 2022-2023, I taught: Concepts of Criminal Procedural Law, Comparative Constitutional Law and Private International Law.

Throughout my traineeship with the office of MEP Pascal Arimont, I mainly conducted research on specific questions of law and policy regarding relevant topics discussed in the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI), where I was closely involved in exciting files such as the new Product Liability Directive. Additionally, I was able to assist the MEP in plenary sessions of the European Parliament in both Brussels and Strasbourg. The tasks during the Internship at Zians & Haas mainly revolved around conducting legal research and constructing legal documents in both German and French in the area of Belgian Civil and Commercial Law. Additionally, I also had the possibility to accompany my superiors to court and could, thereby, collect first-hand experiences of the legal profession. During my internship at the Refugee Legal and Advocacy Centre, I was exposed to a variety of legal areas of South African Civil and Criminal Law with a primary focus on Immigration Law. The tasks in the internship concerned researching specific questions of law and policy, providing structured opinions on different legal issues, drafting legal documents for my supervisor, and assisting in client consultations and court hearings.
