The idea first started to develop in 2010 - however it wasn't until 2012 that I started to realise that it had become something 'I had to do - I wanted to do' and was going to do.As founder and development manager this role provides a rich tapestry of experience through the process of creating a system where complex technology is transformed into a simple tool that can be used by people from all sectors of life with the prime goal being to empower, strengthen and connect people and communities.If Everyone Cares CIC, is a Social Enterprise and we are working on two key projects:aDoddle.org - an online community map which will:✓ Pin-point local charities, non for profits and community projects ✓ Connect those who need help to those who provide it✓ Help anyone experiencing isolation to find local groups so they can connect with others✓ Signpost people who want to help, to projects that need their support✓ Make it 'aDoddle' to find, connect, give, collaborate and support - FREE to use 24/7Area Based Community Maps - All of aDoddle's Benefits, Plus it will:✓ Focus on local areas, highlighting local needs, opportunities and priorities✓ Partner with key community organisations - with established local knowledge✓ Help people to discover, connect with and shape their local community✓ Be linked to aDoddle.org - meaning all profiles are added/updated on all connected maps✓ Facilitate stronger, more resilient communitiesOur aim is to create a national resource, via a network of connected area based community maps which gives everyone easy access to information and tools so they can discover & connect with vital support & resources locally.   Tutoring and Assessing CLAIT (Computer Literacy and Information Technology) to Play-workers across Devon. A fantastic job where I wrote one of the first 'Click by Click' training guides (that was then used across the South West) to deliver basic IT Training in Rural areas. At the time it was an innovative programme that took laptops (when they were first available) to individuals who had previously not had any IT experience. I would give them one day of introductory training and then leave the laptop with them. This was followed by remote support as they worked through the training guide and their CLAIT Exam.Part time Training Coordinator, organizing special training events for play-workers – including designing publicity and media.
