Installs, configures, tests, maintains, upgrades and troubleshoots network and application server hardware, network operating system software, and peripheral network equipment such as routers, bridges, cabling system, network interface cards, modems, multiplexers, and concentrators. Conducts analyses of network usage, customer complaints, traffic interruptions, hardware and software capabilities, adverse trends, ineffective practices or procedures, equipment shortcomings, and other relevant factors. Analyzes data and provides recommendation for alternatives in terms of cost, time, necessary equipment and staff. Promotes and ensures the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, procedures, and practices throughout the ANG enterprise network
