      Backend developer on the OMP Calculator-bff (Backend for Frontend) project building and maintaining spring boot servers to support communication between front and backend. GraphQL also used to efficiently query data on this server. Other day to day tasks include coding unit tests for the web apps code using Junit, working alongside my mentor on a number of tasks including a proof of concept virtual server project and fixing various bugs and defects within the web apps and service code. The codebase is a Java stack and I used various tools such as IntelliJ, Vagrant, Git, VirtualBox, Chef, Beyond Compare, GraphQL and Insomnia when working on projects.
