He has a particular knack for not getting flustered, even in challenging situations, and keeping calm with stressed students. Worked with a caseload of over 50 first-generation low-income students to apply to colleges. Colleges were applied to based on good fit academically, socially, and financially. Students each received one-on-one counseling to aid in completing the entire college application process including researching available academic and recreational programs at potential schools, completing the Common Application, completing school-specific applications as well as developing and editing their college essays. Students were also supported throughout the financial aid and scholarship processes.
