I worked directly with Jake as part of the biology co-op team. He was professional, enthusiastic, and a go-to for our co-op team. He always completed tasks quickly and thoroughly, and worked well with students and employers. He has a particular knack for not getting flustered, even in challenging situations, and keeping calm with stressed students. We continued to collaborate after he moved on to the College of Engineering, and have gone on employer site visits together. Most recently, we worked on a shared data project, and co-presented at CEIA (Cooperative Education and Internship Association) 2019 in Chicago. The chemical engineering students are lucky to have him.
