After completing a two year apprenticeship in Digital Learning Design and recently completed my qualification. My roles at the college were to support with any technical difficulties on a number of platforms eg. Moodle, ProMonitor, ProSolution. However primarily my role was to develop engaging and useful resources for staff and students at the college. Moodle, I would deal with most of the front facing issues like enrolling staff, students and assigning roles were just some of the responsibilities that would fall to me while I was at the College. Articulate Storyline 2 was the software that was most prominent in my time at the College as it was the tool I would use to script my designs. Articulate Storyline 2 was the software I would use when creating a piece of learning material before it could be uploading onto our version of Moodle (LMS). While using this software also opened up many other softwares that were compatible with it like video, image and other forms of media. This is when I started to gain an interest in making videos that I could incorporate into my training material. ProMonitor, being the main software for tracking student work it was my responsibility to deliver training and offer as much support as I could with the set up and maintenance of Markbook features within ProMonitor.
