  As an intern at Control Assemblies, I have been a part of many different projects throughout the company that have given me a vast experience in various aspects of electrical engineering. I have worked on the business side of engineering by helping many of the engineers familiarize themselves with our new ERP system, Epicor. I have also created several bill of materials and quote lists for engineers. I have also helped in the R&D aspect of the company by testing new projects for errors and concerns before they are sent to customers. These tests have included programming of PLCs, electrical noise effects, and wireless communication errors. I have also soldered numerous hardware circuits for prototype testing. Lastly, I have been involved in HMI programming and communication. I have been assisting many of the engineers with these tasks and in the process have learned a lot about how HMI's are programmed and operate. These programs include TATSOFT and SCADA. Show less
