  I do everything linux, unix, and oracle for our customers, from install/migration, upgrades, operations, and incident handling. - My most recent shell script has over 60 functions and 2000+ lines, and uses a postgres database that I keep adding more tables to. I started scripting in Apple Basic on an Apple IIe, For the last.... a lot of years ;) I have been mastering bash/ksh/sh shell scripting. Scripting is what I like to do the most. - Install and configure OS and software - AIX 5.3, 7.1 / High Availability (HACMP) - Red Hat - CentOS - Oracle Enterprise Linux - Ubuntu - Debian - OpenSuse Oracle Administration: - 10g 11g 12c 18c - Single node and Oracle RAC - Windows & Linux environments - Enterprise Manager - SQL Developer Postgres database - I have started integrating my shell scripts with a postgres database, and the "coolness" and functionality of my scripts has become exponentially better. - I have quite a few postgres databases large and small running on mostly red hat/CentOS. I have done the setup, operation, and administration. Jboss / Wildfly /Tomcat - Install and configuration - deployments - administration - Windows and Linux environments Nagios / Icinga - Installed, Configured with distributed monitoring - What I love about Icinga/Nagios is that writing custom checks is simple. If I can run a command that produces a value, I can easily write a check around it. I have write quite a few plugins for monitoring Oracle databases, a more user friendly view of the check_disk plugin. - nrpe & nsca - configured and wrote custom plugins for monitoring all type of services - - Oracle - - Postgres - - Jboss - - ftp - - routers & switches - - http Docker - I administer some servers with docker. I have not done an install and configuration myself yet, but I will.
