  I was elected to be the exchequer, or treasurer, for my social fraternity Sigma Alpha Mu. In this role, my job was to forecast and budget two semesters of revenues and expenses in order to ensure the financial functionality of the fraternity. I directly managed the bank account to keep track of all money going in and out as well as Greekbill, a financial service we utilized to collect payments from brothers.   I served as a camp counselor for several campers between the ages of 10 - 13 while providing supervision and valuable mentorship in the process. I was also selected as an activity head, which entailed managing necessary equipment, training campers, and ensuring their safety. As an activity head, I also developed ten-day lesson plans for other instructors to follow when instructing campers. I was also trusted with managing and editing the camp newspaper, which involved assigning and editing articles, and managing the distribution of the newspaper to around 200 campers and 40 staff members, including uploading online to ensure the campers' families and camp alumni would be able to view it.
