In my current role I am coordinating working holidays for over 850 Aussies and 150 Kiwis each year to relocate within the Canadian ski fields on behalf of our partners Whistler Blackcomb, Big White, Silverstar, Lake Louise, Sunshine Village, Naksika & Kicking Horse. Accompanied with facilitating recruitment of internationals into Canada & USA I am also responsible for a large segment of the companies business development, strategic planning, marketing, wholesaler training and social media. In this role I have also created the Powder Express bus tours to take our participants from Vancouver out to our 11 ski resorts partners across Canada. #CitytoSnow TourWith the increasing success of our Canadian working holiday programmes it was evident there was a demand for our participants to get to see parts of the USA before their Canadian Ski Season kicked off. As a result the #CitytoSnow Tour was created which gave participants the opportunity to travel via bus from LA-Las Vegas-San Francisco-Eugene-Seattle & Vancouver. The tour enabled participants to get to see the best sights, attractions, restaurants and Nightspots the cities has to offer while keeping things on a budget. After the Success of the 2013 departure ,two bus departures where rolled out in 2014 and we are looking to expand with a 3rd departure in 2015.#CitytoSea TourIn July 2014 the first City-Sea Tour set sail and was a huge success for all involved. The tour which teamed up with The Yacht Week - Croatia provided the ultimate Croatian Island hoping experience. #Bucketlisttours #Bucketlisttours created as an umbrella brand for the #CitytoSea & #CitytoSnow Tours. USA Program Coordinator

Jul 2007 - Jun 2010
After spending a ski season working for Sierra-At-Tahoe in California over my summer semester break I recognised the demand for a new recruitment business in Australia to provide the resorts with Australian university students over the summer break. While originating as a 'hobby' business while studying it quickly expanded into a successful business venture with 4 full time employees and our own office on the Gold Coast. We also expanded our working holiday programmes into UK, Japan and Canada, providing me with invaluable experience and a great network within the industry. Within 3 years of creating L.E. we where given the opportunity to roll out our USA working holiday programmes wthroughout the Flight Centre, Student Flights & Escape Travel Network withover 750 branches Australia wide - However, the programme would need to be re-branded as the Powder & Kickstart programme with The Working Holiday Club/Overseas Working Holidays (OWH), a great opportunity that we ceased. While Letz Experience was amalgamated with The Working Holiday Club to create WHC USA I still co-own the programme and it is still thriving and growing substancially every year in an economy with all time high unemployment levels - one of my greatest achievements to date!

After the my last season I had to go back for another..... This year we travelled with our first group of Letz Experience participants. We started the season with In-country orientations in Los Angeles, conducted our meet & greets, set up everyones bank accounts and helped them register for social insurance and then went on to spend the rest of the season working in Tahoe. Business Developement Manager

Mar 2006 - Mar 2008
While working for ALH one of my regulars asked me to start working for him in the lead up to him launching his new telecommunications business which sold international calling cards. We began in his garage in March 2006 and within 12 months the business had 8 employees and a small office in Surfers Paradise. It was a great learning experience for me to see how a small business operates and expands. While I began as the marketing assistant I soon moved ito direct sales and found myself managing a client base 200 strong, consisting of major newsagencies, service stations and tobacco stores around the country. After being thrown in the deep end it really tought me how to sell in a face-to-face as well as phone enviroment.

Working in Guest Services for Sierra over my university summer holidays was one of the greatest times of my life! I boarded and worked all day and hung out with a banquet of new mates at night. I fell in love with the USA, Snowboarding, Lake Tahoe and the ski resort industry in general. While doing a season I thought why don't more Australians do this? And the seed of Letz Experience was planted..... Working in Guest Services for Sierra over my university summer holidays was one of the greatest times of my life!
