I pursued Lean Manufacturing Products, Inc. after believing in an opportunity to help manufacturing facilities. There is a massive open market to help manufacturing facilities become more organized, increase product throughput, reduce stress, eliminate waste, and ultimately show more profits. I enjoy working closely with our customers, and I appreciate the opportunity this company/position creates to continue developing ways to help the manufacturing community. Our first product is officially US patented, and we look forward to continued growth that will further benefit the manufacturing industry. Show less

Managed customer accounts to ensure their projects ran smoothly. Collaborated with teams of mechanical engineers to develop clean, usable, dimensioned CAD models/drawings that increased the manufacturability of the respectable components and assemblies. While managing external projects, I also took on many internal continuous improvement projects. Some examples are: -- Cost-justifying, purchasing, implementing, and training operators on new machinery -- Designing, reviewing, and overseeing the production of cartridge-style storage systems -- Developing standards for new job-cost estimators to use when quoting projects -- Creating training matrices Show less

Learned manufacturing processes first-hand from the ground up – with my main focus being metal fabrication. Used full-time hours to dig in and learn from industry experts in the areas of fiber laser cutting, pressbrake bending, CAD design, geometric tolerancing, process flow, continuous improvements, and project/personality management. Each progressing week, I learned how to program, operate, and troubleshoot new technologies and machines while working from a variety of software platforms and drawing formats. I also took a series of continued-learning courses (SolidWorks, GD&T, Metallurgy, Advanced Pressbrake) at 3rd party tech colleges to supplement my college degree and on-the-job training. Overall, I developed a passion for the processes behind metal manufacturing and looked for the opportunity to take the next step in my career. Show less

Coordinated and led a six-week lesson plan for a group of 14 underprivileged high school seniors who aspired to attend a four-year university in their field of interest. At the culmination of the program (they started attending the program the summer after their freshman year), the passing students received a full-ride scholarship to the UW school of their choice.
