I managed a network of freelance contributors, controlled the content budget and represented the brand.

  As a reporter for Poultry World and Farmers Weekly I closely covered major policy, market and industry developments in British agriculture. I have a deep knowledge of issues facing the poultry sector such as avian influenza; international trade; food safety (specifically campylobacter reduction) and animal welfare (in particular beak trimming and welfare at time of killing). In addition, I have a strong grasp of the issues facing British agriculture and the wider rural community.
