Used AutoCAD electrical to create I/O schematics, cable drawings, panel drawings, and single line power drawings. Performed calculations for determining fault current, voltage drop, breaker/fuse selection, and cable sizing . Utilized the Canadian Electrical Code in all designs. Created bill of materials for parts ordering. • Programmed over 40 vision systems for various applications including inspection, pose estimation, visual line tracking, bar code reading, 2D and 3D measurements, gap and flush, OCR, robot guidance, presence/absence, and glass decking. Utilized systems such as Cognex Insight, Keyence CV-X, Fanuc iRVision, and INOS. • PLC programming utilizing CPU's from Mitsubishi, Rockwell and Omron for assembly lines that included robots, servo drives, torque guns, sealer systems, conveyors, and vision systems. • Programmed safety PLC's from Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Omron, and Jocab. Performed safety calculations for light curtain distance, reach over hazards and safety fences using Z434-14/ISO 10218.• Fanuc and Motoman programming for guidance applications and visual line tracking. Offline programming using Roboguide and Motosim for DCS/FSU setup. • Specified, designed and setup industrial communication networks such as DeviceNET, CC-Link, Ethernet/IP, CC-Link IE, MELSEC/H, SLMP, and Modbus. • HMI programming using Mitsubishi GOT's and Proface.
