  I had joined Jazz Hotel Penang hotel Marketing Communication and Sales Department as a PR Practitioner. Although as an Intern in Marketing Communication and Sales Department, I worked as a Public Relations Practitioner. They Provide me a good platform to unleash the knowledge, theories and skills that i learn in class. As an intern, my supervisor provide me lots of chance to be in touch with all department in hotel line. Although its only short intern duration, I gain a lot of experience. Although a lot of knowledge and skills came in handy for the first time applied in industry, but I do taken full responsibility on every task and event project given. In this intern duration they did train me able to be multitasking since there are not many manpower in this department so I involved myself in publishing promotion idea and new menu design for the hotel restaurant I do given a chance from my supervisor to publish a news letter for media practitioner and social media influencer to invite them to our Jazzy Gump interview. In that event my job scope is to serve and brief the media practitioner. I do carry a camera with me and a mobile phone provide by company to take photo for later media posts use and keep updating the latest information onto our Jazz Hotel Intragram profile. I did design work with resident artists regarding the publicity materials such as flyers, posters and invitation cards for the event and also helped in the setup and decorations of the venue. The events I had involved as an organisation team are Earth Hour Event, Ramadhan Buffet Activity and Penang International Food Festival and so on. The most biggest project accept by me its to promote our hotel to let more people know about us. Since Jazz Hotel is newly operate we come out many different promotions room rate to celebrate our newly open ceremony. To prepare this promotion, I take a lot of videos and photos of our hotel distinguishing feature edit it using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Show less
