  As part of an integration masters’ studio, a high efficiency off-grid home was designed and construction budget generated. The project employed numerous passive strategies including RETScreen modeling for natural lighting. Extensive energy and performance modeling was carried out to ensure the success of the project, including assembly modeling software (WUFI), thermal performance modeling (WINDOW & THERM) and energy performance modeling (PHPP, eQuest).
