Coordinating 3 projects across Camden, supporting volunteers to read with families on their doorsteps to inspire a love of books, of stories, and of storytelling, and to instil a lifelong passion for reading. This is mostly an on-the-ground role, carrying boxes of books and providing information and support to both volunteers and the families we visit. Our goal is to support children to develop the self-confidence and essential skills they need to move through life and succeed with confidence. In the last year we have reached over 3000 people across London.I am working at the core of our projects across London to coordinate and manage our community work, deliver workshops, understand needs, and identify, engage and support new community projects.
