Prof. Jayasimha's classes better prepared me for my professional life post-MBA than any other classes I attended. I had to come armed and ready with conceptual and case knowledge because he would come armed with a barrage of questions that would make you questions even the most basic of marketing concepts. He was excellent at playing devil's advocate, sometimes to his own ideas! His unique teaching methods and his dedication helped me learn how important it is to have a certain breadth and depth of preparation, how to analyze a case from different viewpoints and how to make your pitch regarding the solution to a case convincingly. My friends and I would attend even those courses taught by him that we weren't enrolled for. If I had the option, I would still ghost his classes.

The things I liked the most were his preparedness to the class, spontaneity in answering queries (playing the Devil's advocate and ruling out false assumptions) and analytic approach to case solving.
