  I’m working with a philanthropic Non-Government Development Organization of Bangladesh, named Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM). DAM envisions a human society with improved living condition of the vulnerable community. I’m acquainted with the whole spirit of the organization. The Disaster Management Unit of Dhaka Ahsania Mission has been evolved under my leadership and taken a widespread drive for implement emergency response programme; establish linkage and effective coordination among the sectors and also with the different related Government institutions. I was involved in developing different types of needs assessment tools, trained the field staffs/volunteers, facilitate the needs assessment process and finally in report writing. I’m focal person of my organization to participate in the cluster meeting. Since last two years, I have actively involved in Joint Needs Assessment process. It’s my duty to maintain the coordination and communication with different stakeholders as team leader of CC & DRR sector. I have expertise to design and develop the organizational strategy paper, project, budgeting and also to guide to facilitate the participatory monitoring and evaluation process. The emergency response programmes are usually implemented under my leadership. I used to guide the colleagues and volunteers to simulate the organizational contingency plan. The coordination and operational issues are accelerated by me. It is my responsibilities to make the policy issues operational and the Core Humanitarian Standard is executed at the grassroots level under my guidance. I have keen interest to develop my professional skills and disseminate within my organization. Even these learning’s, might be replicable.
