  After sailing for quite long time on the often turbulent waters of marketing and call-centers, my ship entered a novel ocean: imparting education. Though I wasn’t a stranger to learning, I had never experienced how regal it felt to be not on the receiving end. I took the educational voyage like a ship to water, anchoring on a plethora of harbors for some time and setting sail again. It is my passion to illuminate the lives of young aspirants so that the latter fulfill the dreams of their parents and achieve the goals in their lives and ensure that their families in turn lead a glorious life. With this noble responsibility, I feel that my academic grooming, that began when my parents got me admitted into Central School (Kendriya Vidyalya) and acquiring knowledge from a host of cities in the country, continued to higher echelons, having graduated with Literature, attending marketing classes while earning, and, as I mentioned at the very beginning, from mundane products to virtual ones, my ship floated forward all the time. I boarded the train of “train the trainer” programs and minding the train of the trainees on the tracks at the same time in the class too. The trainer engines were of the British Council, IDP, Cambridge, Pearson and others (IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, SE). I also had an opportunity to train and also learn from scholastic instructors and executive magistrates, when it was required of me to …umm…exchange some nitty-gritties of the English Language in Bhuj, Himmatnagar and Khedbrahmma. With this “learn, unlearn and relearn” attitude, the three-fold purpose of education dawned on me: evolve creatively to behave aesthetically matured on the same page, possess perfect knowledge for innovation, and administer an environment that leaves mankind happy and peaceful. Universities should shoulder the responsibility foster into youth the aforesaid characteristics rather than reducing themselves to a body selling meaningless degrees on paper. Show less
