I had the pleasure to work along with Jagat Rathod during our Ph.D. studies. I met Jagat as a dedicated researcher with deep and broad scientific knowledge, critical thinker who could troubleshoot and bring solutions to scientific challenges. "Grown up as an independent efficient researcher" is the phrase that strikes me when I think about Jagat. Above all, I was impressed with Jagat's exceptional expertise in research skills, scientific writing, mentoring and motivational skills. He is dedicated, extremely hard worker, methodical and very punctual. And of course, he is not only a reliable and forward-thinking researcher but also an inspiring team player. Jagat would be a true asset for any positions requiring research, scientific writing and project management skills in a company as well as academic platform and earns my highest recommendation.

I am so thankful that I got this opportunity to write about Jagat, whom I have known very well as a researcher for several years and also as a friend. He still reminds me that a curious persons mind is what makes a great scientist. We were always amazed by his new ideas of successfully completing an experiment within his domain of expertise, thus making him one of the most reliable person to work with. Science was not the only thing he was good at. He has been known as a very great helping person and an excellent team player. I can assure you that he will be one of the most dependable person to accomplish a task if he is assigned to. I wish him all the very best for his future endeavors. Please feel free to write to me if you need more information about him. Thanks, Marpe (PhD)
