I had the pleasure to supervise Jadwiga during her Ph.D. studies in my laboratory at the Lady Davis Institute/McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Jadwiga loves her work and she approaches her experiments in a very thorough fashion. She is not afraid to venture into new territory and learns quickly. Jadwiga is very meticulous about her acquired data and assesses them critically. Also, she is definitely a team player and communicates with her colleagues in a very efficient manner. She was also patient as a mentor for new students and transmitted her knowledge effectively. During her Ph.D. studies Jadwiga was very productive and published a series of articles in renowned journals, including the Biochemical Journal, Experimental Hematology and Cellular Molecular Life Sciences. She also presented her data with success at a series of conferences and research retreats. Clearly, Jadwiga’s motivation, diligence and her superior ability to perform and supervise research are assets for every laboratory.

I've been working with Jadwiga for many years and she's not only the best lab manager we ever had, but she's also a highly skilled and talented scientist. She exhibits many of the qualities that are critical to succeed in research: she understands new techniques and new concepts very rapidly, she's hard-working and always tries to bring new and innovative ideas. She's able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment. Based on my experiences of working with her, I have no hesitation in recommending Jadwiga both professionally and personally.
