It is a full-time and demanding occupation, and an experience which I still value. I learned how to manage a team effectively but with love, and how to respond well to sometimes hostile attitudes towards what I represented. Because of it, I can express myself with confident authenticity in public, in person, and in writing. I can motivate my peers and maintain a joyful environment. I happily wore through 12 pairs of boots and dress shoes doing it.
