  I work with young people between the age of 12-18. I help develop their interpersonal skills while they learn subjects like navigation, weapon handling and first aid. I completed an instructor training assessment with a high mark in 2012 which qualified me to instruct. I am also a qualified skill at arms instructor meaning I have been assessed and awarded the ability to train and test safety with the weapon systems we use. I manage the accounts within our detachment of approximately 20 cadets and 4 adult staff. Furthermore I am the Duke of Edinburgh Leader for the detachment meaning I help manage the cadets that are enrolled in DofE and help them towards their award. This is while I am working towards my own Gold DofE award. Other qualifications: Expedition Assessor, Activity First Aid, Ammo Store Man & Basic Signals Instructor.
