Jade is a bright and brilliant girl. Full of ideas and inspiration. She's incredibly driven with a keen eye for detail and tonnes of ambition.

I have had the pleasure of working with Jade from the first Rock the Catwalk show in 2007 - and many more followed. Her enthusiasm, professionalism and energy are second to none resulting in a successful show which continued to go from strength to strength. Not only did Jade produce a fantastic show, she worked well with all parties, from the technicial team, marketing, participants and sponsors, she also raised substantial funds for different charities. I cannot recommend Jade highly enough.......

As our company has grown, my role has developed from purely 'Owner', to the more focused position of Creative Director. I manage our Marketing, Buying and Product Development teams to create the visual of Little Lies, keeping it true to our roots as we move forward. We now not only operate as a boutique, but as an own label business; my role as Creative Director sees our collections from concept through design and development stages, to the overall visual at launch.

Little Lies is inspired by great tunes and beautiful things. We love 70s boho style, anything to do with Led Zeppelin and all things festival. Our name comes from the classic Fleetwood Mac song, which cements our brand’s musical influences. We're not just a website, but a place where you belong - somewhere you can create your own personal little world of discoveries and where you feel a part of our gang!We want you to find amazing new tunes, listen to our playlists, buy really cool things for your house and treat yourself to unique and limited edition products that we get created especially for you.We want to bring you the treasures you can mix with your staple high street wardrobes to create your very own unique vibe. • Maggie's Farm Boutique

    • Website and Online Sales Manager
      • May 2013 - Feb 2015

Maggie's Farm is an award-winning, trend-setting fashion boutique with a cult following. With it's first boutique in Dundee firmly established as one of the city's favourite shopping destinations, we opened a second boutique in Dunfermline in November 2012 and have since developed the store to include a hair salon and beauty parlour. My role as Website and Online Sales Manager involved the complete set up and launch of maggiesfarmboutique.com. I took the project from concept stage through the design and build to the launch, plus setting up office and warehouse space, putting all stock systems and logistics in place, leading photography, graphics and marketing for the project. I worked on an iMac with programs such as Parallels, Linnworks, Photoshop and WooCommerce. After the site launch in December 2014, I trained up a team to take over the running of the site, while I focused on the creative development and marketing of the overall brand with the Managing Director. I continued to schedule and assist with the creative direction of our photoshoots, plus had control of all image edits and creating all graphics. I also secured high profile collaborations for the brand, including NYC blogger Lua Perez of Le Happy. Show less

  • Glitter & Trauma
    • Perth, Scotland
    • Owner and Designer
      • Jun 2012 - Jan 2014

I created and ran my own fashion line which was sold in both branches of Maggie’s Farm - voted Best Scottish Independent Retailer of the Year 2012, as well as being stocked in boutiques in Perth, Scotland, Perth, Australia and on ASOS Marketplace. Running Glitter & Trauma involved design work, garment production, marketing, continually organising promotional photo shoots, as well as business management and book keeping. Glitter & Trauma allowed me to dive into what it is to be a brand and gave me the opportunity to gain valuable experience from a new angle within the fashion and events industries. Show less

I was selected as one of two students from my university to undertake a one day media internship with the Bon Jovi tour when it came to Scotland. I worked closely with the media manager for the day, assisting him with customer service, set up and organisation of back stage facilities and the running of the VIP guest party. My production internship involved training as a stage manager as well as conducting research and writing a report on Artifax - the complex booking system the venue uses. I researched how it worked, figured out and fixed the problems the staff were having, then re-trained the management team on how to correctly use the system. • Rock the Catwalk
    • Perth, United Kingdom
    • Owner, Director, Project Manager
      • Feb 2007 - Mar 2010

By far my biggest undertaking, I ran my own large scale fundraising concert for four consecutive years at Perth Concert Hall. The event incorporated live bands, models and dancers, all carefully programmed to create an impressive spectacle. Year after year, every song, every band and every model were specially selected and put together to create 'Rock the Catwalk', and event with a unique and recognisable format which grew to be a locally renowned event. I undertook the project alone, running all aspects including production design, management, budgeting, marketing, choreography, event design and volunteer management. The event grew to be a much anticipated and sold out annual event, with over 100 volunteers and participants each year and raising over £50,000 for charity - funds which stayed in Scotland benefitting the local branches of CLIC Sargent and Help for Heroes.
