As a new parent, my maternity leave will be ending soon and I do not wish to go back to that job due to only being able to work shifts and night shifts which isn't suitable. I still have the majority of my days free and this I feel could be filled with some work that can be done from home. I have my own computer and would love to be able to utilise my time with working without having to pay out for constant child care. Technical Support Advisor
-
2011 - 2012
My position at Plusnet involved inbound calls from customers who were seeking technical support with their home broadband and telephones. I was also able to work on the written side of our technical help, by replying to customer questions to help them via text instead of vocally. I was able to gather training from other departments such as broadband faults, night-shifts and customer service. Bar Staff
-
2010 - 2011
I was responsible for keeping the bar on my own, this involved cash handling, minor cleaning and customer service. As this was a specialist real ale pub, I have gathered knowledge to do with the type of beverage served and how best to keep it, serve it and when there may be problems with any products served. 2008 - 2009
I worked here as Christmas staff for a short period of time. I then went to college afterwards. I was mainly responsible for shelf stocking, cash handling and customer service. This job gave me a good opportunity to be able to approach another level with customers, by walking round the shop floor, engaging in conversation to find what they needed and be able to help them find it.
