Within the company I originally worked as a Customer Service Adviser. Since then I have worked within the QA department as a QA Clerk, ensuring poor quality products were dealt with quickly and effectively. I also had control over what after sales were sent out to customers and ensured the issues causing these were resolved. I then moved on to the warehouse as a Warehouse administer ensuring operatives were bar-coding products correctly and that stock issues were resolved and investigated correctly. I am currently working within the Purchasing department. I mainly deal with Non-stock Purchase requests and stock issues, ensuring we do not overspend on goods and handle stock correctly. I make sure any stock issues are passed on to our customer service department as quickly as possible to ensure we provide a good service to our customers. I deal with all warehouse packaging and consumables orders and negotiate prices constantly to make sure we are getting the best deals and quality possible. From each of these roles within the company I have developed my Excel skills, using this to work off several reports daily. I have become very knowledgeable of the company as a whole from my experience within the different departments i have worked in.

In this role I dealt with all aspects of motor claims. Including policy holder claims, Third party claims, injury claims and fraudulent claims. My job was to resolve the claim quickly and as low cost to the insurer as possible. I spoke with customers and insurers daily over the telephone and face to face ensuring I developed excellent communication skills. Within this role I learnt how to work in an extremely fast past environment under very strict timescales. During my time here I completed my IF1. Insurance, legal and regulatory examination towards my CII. I was also a Colleague Engagement Rep during my time at the company .
