In my current role as stage door keeper I am responsible for opening and closing the building, monitoring all fire doors, maintenance of the lights and boilers, and the general security of the building. This element requires abiding by strict health and safety procedures and doing so completely independently. As the first point of call for staff, volunteers, cast, and crew, I am responsible for the register and key pass system, and general questions about the goings on around the theatre. The role also has an administrative element, logging all lost property, taxis, ice-cream, and stationary orders throughout the building. The role requires knowing the people in the theatre, in order to take deliveries for them, answer questions on their whereabouts, or sign them out in the event that they forget. Show less

I spent a week in the Financial Institutions and Political Risk department at Kennedys. My role involved drafting a list and disclosure statement and conducting legal research into subrogated recovery and its jurisdictional limitations. I also shadowed an associate during a case management conference (CMC) at Business and Property Courts and attended a day of the London Bridge Inquest at the Old Bailey.
