  While working at Sentara Healthcare I identified each patient with two types of identification. I then received their requisition forms from their physicians and ordered the corresponding tests. I would order blood tests, stool samples, urine samples, EKG's, covid swabs or MRSA nasal swabs. After collecting the sample I would label it with the patients label and place the specimen in biohazard collection bags properly. I would also ensure if specimen needed to be put on ice or hidden from light that they were. After each patient completed the visit I would disinfect the room. Show less
