Duties included: negotiating with US consulates, INS, and Bosnian government officials; convincing schools to accept students on full scholarship, and issue I-20's for them; persuading host families to take them; writing budgets, raising funds to support efforts through public speaking appearances, a Gala Auction, and successful grant writing.
