-Collaborate with teachers to develop appropriate, specific, and measurable goals that meet the individual needs of teachers -Coach teachers on their instructional practices while using the reflective cycle -Observe classroom practices based on teacher goals, and provide feedback directly to the teaching staff -Provide the teaching staff with strategies/supports that were aligned to the Creative Curriculum and the Framework for Effective Teaching -Analyze and interpret student data from Teaching Strategies GOLD to develop effective feedback and strategies for teachers -Implement the NJ Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards and the Creative Curriculum to collaborate with teachers to plan effective practices -Administer structured program evaluation instruments such as ECERS-3 and Creative Curriculum Fidelity Tool -Plan and execute professional development and training opportunities to improve growth areas identified in observation instruments -Collaborate with Early Childhood Supervisors to coordinate, articulate, and provide professional development for all early childhood staff -Provide individualized follow-up support to teachers based on their level of development -Consult regularly with the preschool intervention and referral team to discuss supports for teachers and parents for children with challenging behaviors -Support district administrators with curriculum goals, professional development, and performance-based assessments -Plan and present workshops in Spanish on the development of preschoolers for the Latino community in the district -Model and provide teachers with strategies on modifying instruction for students with learning disabilities -Offer support to teachers reviewing IEPs and help them develop appropriate accommodations specific to the child’s needs Show less
