In this Further Education College, I taught post-Secondary vocational students, ranging in age from 16 to 18, GCSE English. These students had to re-sit their exams in English, having failed them in Secondary school. I also taught adult students re-entering education to in order to gain entrance to university as well as immigrant students learning the English language to help them cope with life in the UK. At Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), I was a teacher of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), teaching Language A: literature and Language A: language and literature. Although predominantly a Pre-University teacher, I also taught Secondary students in Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), preparing them to take up the IBDP.
