To start with my role in France was mother and housewife, but this was not enough for me as I have always enjoyed working. So I took a part time office job with a holiday company. I then helped run an internet sales business with a family member, and then became the office side of my husband's Satellite and Aerial installation business. On the side of this I also set up my own business selling cupcakes, and greeting cards. I would organise pop-up markets for myself and other local female artisans. Being able to make money, help showcase other people's skills and socialise at the same time was fantastic and rewarding.
