In my multi-dimensional role as Office Coordinator, I perform various operational functions including general office management, revenue and expense tracking, donor management, scheduling, board support, program planning and Salesforce administration. As the organization's Salesforce Co-Administrator I utilize my education and experience to ensure data quality and procedural consistencies. I played a critical role on the implementation team which involved meeting with the developer to provide functionality input, uploading data for migration and performing integrity tests. In addition to continuously improving the CRM, I also create user guides and train fellow employees. On top of my regular responsibilities, I volunteered to mentor two of GCI's Fellowship participants and helped them to complete their Global Service Projects at their communities. My mentoring also extended to 3 high school student summer interns and I am extensively involved in counseling new employees. In my role as assistant to the President and coordinator for the family office, I am responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties such as bookkeeping with QuickBooks, acting as liaison with vendors and handling other confidential items. • Feb 2012 - Jan 2019

I coordinated the many activities within the agency including budgeting, project management, data administration via Salesforce, event planning, marketing and administration for a team of 3 Managing Directors and their staffs of Educational Consultants. I monitored the budgets and expenses for all activities, and played important roles on the Data Management Team, Engagement/Communication Task Force, Operations Team and Technology Team. During the organization’s transition to Salesforce from Donorperfect, I served as a Business Analyst by helping to gather requirements from end users, then translating those requests and parameters to the developers. I can discern not only what users articulate they are concerned with, but what functionality should be included for anticipated growth. I continually assist in Salesforce improvements, documentation and training users on correct data entry to maintain the integrity of the database. Additionally, I jumped in to improve the organization’s marketing pieces. I enhanced the visual appeal and elevated the copywriting of some printed brochures and webpages to be more engaging. I also quickly transitioned from Constant Contact to the Predictive Response marketing tool. On top of my creative abilities, I have a data-oriented mindset, and recreated a complex statistical analysis that had been originally created in SPSS, into an Excel spreadsheet format. Also, I coordinate complex event logistics, have overseen an extensive office renovation as well as employee scheduling and project planning. Show less

I managed a $20M budget, which included the financial, human resources, planning and administrative operations of The Learning Center. This role also gave me extensive experience managing Unionized employees. To ensure the budget was used efficiently, I developed a consistent set of procedures including full-costing studies, monthly budget analysis and quarterly status report of quarterly goals so when a variance was identified, I was able to quickly take corrective action. I also designed the 5-year business plan, including initiating the idea to generate substantial revenue by renting our spacious meeting space with views of the Manhattan skyline, to external organizations. • Senior Financial Planning Analyst
      • 1992 - 1995

In this role, I analyzed, managed and reported on operations and maintenance, capital and human resource budgets for Customer Service / Division Operations. I revised procedures to streamline and update the budgeting, planning and reporting operations, which in turn facilitated efficient monthly reporting and accurate year-end projections. Along the same lines, I performed special benchmarking and resource utilization studies. I gained additional experience by coordinating portions of the rate case filing with the Public Service Commission. Show less

    • Supervisor / Assistant Business Office Manager, Customer Service
      • 1990 - 1992

In a fast-paced, demanding environment, I supervised customer service representatives in the Business Office and telephone operations center. When people call to inquire about their bills, they are frequently upset and confused about the charges. I was the escalation point for the staff to send the most irate customers. I would negotiate payment arrangements and explain the details behind the rate calculations on their bills. I did establish a quality review board to improve the team’s communication and job satisfaction. Show less

I developed annual budgets for Electric Operations in Queens and continued to monitor the performance and variance to goal. I also established man-hour rates, forecasted expenditures and computed the human resource requirements. Furthermore, I instituted the accounting changes that were necessary following a departmental reorganization. An accomplishment I had in this role was to initiate procedures that increased the effectiveness of the monthly variations analysis.
