It's Public is a boutique strategy consultant firm with a full focus on the public domain. We aim to improve decision making in the public sector by presenting complex matters in a clear and understandable way. We do so by analyzing data and communicate results in an visually appealing way to to aldermen, policy makers and citizens. Usually our projects involves a combination of policy and finance. As an Initiator, I took the concept of 'Carbon Conversations' to Germany by conducting many introductory workshops there and recruiting a team for the German version called 'KlimaGespräche'. Although considerable progress was made, the team fell apart after I left Germany.

Using a hefty dose of climate psychology as a starting point, I facilitated a series of workshops on sustainable behaviour change and conversation techniques for having a good 'climate conversation'.

Alliander is the biggest electricity network operator of the Netherlands. I was part of the in-company consultancy team which made forecasts of future energy demand by making scenario analysis. My role was to make forecasts on the electricity demand in Amsterdam over a 40-year time scale to feed into the company asset investment decision making.
