Film Focus Productions is a creative studio, focussed on film, photography, and creative design. As the owner and creative director of the company, I have shot major projects with clients including Telstra, BMW, Ferrari, IKEA, Nespresso, the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, the Queensland Ballet, the Queensland Government, the NSW Government, and more. I have also directed a range of cinematic content, including the recent award-winning short documentary Salt of the Earth, about the South Australian creator of chicken salt. Film Focus Magazine is the reviews, movie news and interview section of the company. This online and print magazine, in operation since 2016, has become a beacon of film criticism. In my role as editor-in-chief, I not only run a team of reviewers, forge relationships with studios and industry professionals, and manage the development and promotion of the magazine, but also contribute the majority of reviews. My review work has been regularly featured in other publications also, including as film critic for the Access News Australia papers throughout NSW, and as film critic for the Village News papers in Brisbane.

At Calcutta Group, I led the development of a number of business cases, strategies, community engagement exercises, pilots and projects. My business case work included Gate 0, Gate 1 and Gate 2 business cases for a broad range of health, tourism, transport, and corrections projects, for state and federal government. I was highly sought after as a subject matter expert on best practice business case development and management, and have the most experience of any business case author in Australia with the Building Queensland BCDF. I have also worked on ecotourism projects, including significant private sector transactions across Australia and in Canada. Further, I led strategic analysis including major productivity reviews, strategic roadmaps, funding diversification strategies, and industry wide technology blueprints. My role in the organisation included mentoring a number of more junior employees, and I was considered a leader of projects and internally - managing large multi-disciplinary teams, presenting up to Director-General and C-Suite level as a subject matter expert and project lead, and winning work from new clients and existing clients. I also introduced video into the organisation, leading to the development of a new creative service line, and the expansion of our service offering. My video work was the first to play at the Queensland Health Investment Assurance Committee in support of a number of projects, and was touted by that committee and the client as a significant aid in securing further funding.

White Label NOBA is a pre-eminent, Brisbane-based fashion label for women. It comprises a retail store in Hawthorne, wholesale to stores across Australia and New Zealand, and an online presence. Initially brought on in a financial analysis and operational management capacity, specifically with the goal of providing strategic direction for the company to drive growth, my role grew as time passed and WLN capitalised on my skills in Social Media Marketing and IT strategy. While at WLN, I managed the following projects: - Feasibility analysis on the profitability of different business facets - Social Media optimization and growth strategy implementation - End of Day operational procedures - Interactive Look-Book development - IT integrated for Inventory Management - Website Update for Usability - Importation Supplier Optimisation I utilised his wide-ranging skills to provide benefits to all aspects of the business. I was involved in daily financial matters, ranging from invoicing to contract negotiation. I was a key contact for suppliers from India, China and Australia. My additional skills in video production were utilized during photoshoots and, along with my photography skills, for content creation. I built strong working relationships with other employees of the company, and was able to accept and provide direction dependent on the situation.
