Community Manager
-
Jul 2020 - Present
It's difficult to nail down a concise description of the responsibilities that my role of Community Manager has entailed. Tasks range from day-to-day office operations, sales, and client/partner management, to the wide breadth of project management operations for massive capital projects. Truly a jack-of-all trades occupation, my time in this position has allowed me to refine my leadership style, my client and partner relationship development ability, my flexibility in adapting to (and assuming responsibility over) various departments as required for success of a project, and much, much more. This position has also solidified my interest in Project Management. Starting with an annual turnover process that requires synchronizing numerous vendor groups over a 3 week period, to bringing a multi-million dollar capital project from the pitch approval stage all the way through day-to-day management and completion, my ability to navigate the unknown and push a project through to completion has been validating and immensely satisfying to hone. Assistant Community Manager
-
Apr 2018 - Jul 2020
During my time as the Assistant Community Manager, I took primary ownership of the team's day-to-day operations/development, resident & rent management, and the overall sales performance of the community. By emphasizing our focus on resident relationships and clear, honest communication, our team was successfully able to drive up resident retention & renewal rates, maintaining our historically high occupancy levels in the face of turbulent times. Additionally, through establishing relationships with the nearby university, we were able to negotiate an agreement throughout the onset of COVID to house university residents. Show less

Lead Designer/ Co-Founder
-
Jun 2014 - Apr 2018
As the Lead Designer and one of the Co-Founder of 302 Studios, my role was to bring innovation and creative design solutions as we engaged with emerging technologies, particularly in the AR/VR sphere. Over time, my position shifted to incorporate responsibilities as a point of contact for clients and collaborators as we explored our voice, and sought additional opportunities to grow into the simulation and gaming software industry. User Experience Lead
-
Aug 2016 - Feb 2017
As the User Experience Lead for MVRK, I was given the chance to dive headfirst into pure, explorative R&D in emerging technologies, primarily the intersection of Virtual/Augmented reality and interactive technology. This position was an interesting opportunity to round out my previous gaming driven background and understand a more developed perspective on how UX is applied to interactive technology. My preliminary designs & wireframing work directly contributed to the creation of the technology present in the NHL's 2017 Centennial Tour bus exhibit. Show less

Jun 2012 - May 2014
My primary role as Event Coordinator (as part of the Maverick program) for University House Central Florida was the creation, planning, and execution of events for the apartment residents. As an extension to this role, I was involved in the acquisition and coordination of sponsors and donors to enhance and upscale the events. As a natural extension of client work, my responsibilities also included the preservation of healthy relationships with sponsors in order to ensure a lasting partnership. Show less
