It has been such a pleasure working with Jake over the last (almost) year. I was so fortunate to be able to have him as a manager, mentor and friend. Any challenge I faced, he had constructive and valuable feedback with recommended action items to take in solving said issue. And for that, I truly am so grateful and will miss it immensely. Jake also (and I could sincerely tell) cared more about my success as a Solution Architect (than some of the other "things" that can interfere with being an effective manager) and were willing to advocate for me in several ways and at several times. He accomplished so much with and for me as my manager - including successfully transitioning me off a client so I could begin my career as a Solution Architect, shifting my perspective on challenging clients and encouraging me to persevere, urging me to take certifications and answering my random, but frequent questions related to Marketing Cloud or the (at times) convoluted admin stuff.
