As an AML Specialist in Danske Bank Private Wealth Management, I work to ensure that customers in Danske Bank Private Wealth Management are NOT involved in money laundering, Tax avoidance or terror financiering. I do this by performing Ongoing Due Diligence where I perform a holistic investigation of the customer, and investigate the “KYC” of the customer, where the customer acquired the wealth they have, and where their current Source of funds comes from. I also look at all the transactions the customer have done, both foreign and domestic and ensure that the receivers and senders are who they say they are. Therefore, the process is a total holistic look at the whole customer’s financial situation both past and present.
