As an intern for the development office for UTEP Athletics, my duties included planning large events such as Orange Fever Fiesta, the largest fundraiser for Development aimed to raise money for student athletes. Other special even planning included preparing for the anniversary of the 1965 UTEP football team commemorating their win in the 1965 Sun Bowl. I was also tasked with reaching out to members of the El Paso community for preseason football and basketball luncheons as well as facilitating the process of selling season tickets for the upcoming football season.
