  -Devoted 95 hours of research to understand human trafficking in the U.S. and Utah’s public education system to implement the trauma-informed prevention program PROTECT in Utah -Identified and recorded centers of influence in all public schools, and by weighing certain criteria my teammates and I laid a strategy to contact Utah’s school districts -Communicated with Salt Lake City school district to prepare a way for PROTECT to be distributed in their district -In conjunction with our efforts, Utah now requires all their educators to be trained on human trafficking prevention
