  I've been training and working as a decorator the past few years and that has taught me how to apply myself effectively in the workplace. I've worked long hours in difficult conditions conducting fiddly work to a time and budget, whilst maintaining a positive attitude. I've had to work independently and as part of a group, I've also had to supervise newer trainees. I approach new challenges with enthusiasm and am always keen to help out.   I worked a full week at Brighton Electrics through a school programme. I had to go and ask them myself if they could take me on for the week rather then doing the choices the school gave. My jobs included arriving at 8 am to clean e.g vacuum floors, whipping down windows and doors. All the rehearsal rooms 14 in total. As well as helping clients lifting there gear to the rooms and serving them behind the desk for food and drinks. I really enjoyed serving the public and working in a team and learning about time keeping as well as making connections with musicians. Show less
