Worked as an Environmental Inspector on Spread 5 of the Enbridge L3R Project. Project responsibilities required that I work closely with Precision Pipeline Personnel as well as State Environmental Monitors to help ensure that all environmental integrity and compliance was maintained during construction efforts. I also coordinated with representatives of the Minnesota PCA, USACE, BARR Engineering, and MDNR in efforts to ensure that all applicable personnel were on site during construction through sensitive areas. I performed weekly inspections of all Environmental Control Devices (ECD’s) that were installed on the Enbridge right of way, as well as rainfall inspections when precipitation events were greater than 0.5 inches in a 24 hour period. I photo documented my daily inspections and manifested in depth detailed reports of all my inspection efforts. I successfully recognized and labelled all dewatering in my designated section of the pipeline, this was especially tedious due to the strict regulations placed on water turbidity allowance by the State of Minnesota. I successfully completed daily environmental inspections of any and all construction activity in my section of line to include, but not limited to, clearing, grading, stringing, welding, trenching, lowering in, tie-ins, and clean up. Worked as an Environmental Inspector on the 360 mile 24” Lone Star Express II project, which consisted of 4 spreads being constructed by 4 different contractors. Project responsibilities required me to work closely with the Energy Transfer project management team, as well as the USACE management team during the initial routing, constructability, and planning phases of the project. I performed extensive daily in field surveys alongside of the USACE group assisting with the water feature delineation process, and also the identification of multiple archeological avoidance areas. During the construction phase of the project I was tasked with daily in field inspections of the construction crews ensuring that all regulations and permit guidelines set by the company, USACE, Texas Rail Road commission, and local governments where upheld to the highest standard. The in-field inspections required me to frequently mobilize over 2 spreads approx. 180 miles in project length working with 2 separate contractors. During the project I completed inspections of clearing, grading, wetland / water body pipe installation, direction drills, hydrotest de-watering, restoration, and warranty work Show less
