Honest Game is the first technology solution to provide a complete college athletic academic eligibility status report in real time for high school student athletes, generated by HG's proprietary algorithm that automates the academic eligibility review process with verified academic data. Compliant with FERPA and SOPPA, our technology reviews each student-athlete's academic courses, grades and standardized test scores against NCAA and NAIA eligibility requirements. HG then generates a College Athletic Report on Eligibility ("CARE") with that data for each student-athlete, complete with recommendations to improve and maintain eligibility and admissibility. The report provides ongoing individual guidance, such as credit recovery plans and course selection recommendations to maintain compliance with NCAA and NAIA eligibility. The availability of this information demystifies athletic eligibility, while delivering equal access to all student-athletes. Additionally, this data provides college coaches easy access to an up-to-date and trustworthy database of academic data that they can use to gauge admissibility and eligibility of recruits. This streamlines the recruiting process for college coaches, mitigates athletic compliance risk and improves overall collegiate fit, retention and success. In this day and age, like other industries, the sports sector has been disrupted by technological advancements. However, the college athletic academic review and compliance process, which is the barrier to college athletics for almost 1 million high school student-athletes each year, has seemingly been untouched by the technological revolution.
